About the author:

Currently a senior Electrical Engineering student in upstate New York. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, so coming to the mainland alone made for some fun adventures. I love technology, photography, and music. I hold a radio operator license and currently working on my Pilot License, with expectations to finish after graduation.  I hope to work as an an Electrical Engineer using areas of signal and image processing, optics, biomedical, hardware and RF design and control systems in my line of work and earn my PhD in Electrical Engineering.

About PRI:

I started this blog when I got a tablet for my 17th birthday, but I soon discovered that my art skills aren’t great. It has become more of a personal blog than a web comic blog. The title came from a joke between me and some friends at my university. The name, “Puerto Rican on Ice” was given to me when I tried Ice Skating for the first time my freshman year and couldn’t keep off the floor. It has had some variations, such as “Puerto Rican on Rice”, but it is all just one big joke on me. So, what do you get when you put a person from the equator in the frigid north? Of course, there will be many hilarious stories! This is my first web comic and (photo) blog. Bear with me and enjoy!
